Allis tissue forceps in 6 inch use interlocking teeth along the jaw to take a firm hold of fascia, skin edge or other tissue that must not slip. That hold is intentional and is not atraumatic — when the buyer needs bowel or tube, send them to Babcock of the same length. The 6 inch piece is the shorter of a pair priced 540 / 720. Present Allis and Babcock as complementary, not as alternatives of the same instrument. Photograph the teeth closed and open.
